NASIS Wish List

These are some of the improvements suggested by NASIS users. If we had all the resources in the world, we would have all of these features in NASIS. But we are working on the list as time is available. If you have made a suggestion, we want to thank you. We haven’t forgotten you.

• Select more than one report at a time. (Paul Finnell, KS)
• Have more than one clipboard for cut/copy/paste. I want to have several pieces available for pasting in to a series of components. (Paul Lake, CA)
• Calculate acreages for mapunits and legends using the acres in the correlation table. Also calculate the legend overlap acres from the mapunit overlap acres. (Paul Finnell, KS)
• Improve the way the query editor handles references to columns outside the table you are querying. (Kit Paris, CA)
• Sort the interpretations logically, and show a description and list of tables to load for an interp.
• Highlight non-adjacent rows when selecting rows in the editor for copy, paste, de-select, etc. (Paul Lake, CA)
• Tie the choice lists for taxonomy to higher level classes already entered, e.g., list only the great groups for the order/suborder selected.
• Print out choice lists; customize choice lists. (Kathy Swain, NH)
• Add charts and graphs to report generator. (Russ Kelsea)
