Download, unzip and run this executable to install SRITB. 

Pedon CE

For personal digital assistants (PDAs) that use the Pocket PC operating system. The installation package includes installation instructions (including PDA system requirements), user’s guide, and software that is installed on both a PC and PDA.

 

Secure Access for NASIS Central Server

Version 2 of NASIS Secure Access, released in November of 2002, provides a simpler means of connecting to the NASIS server. You only need to enter your password once, when you first connect, and it will not ask again when you transfer files or start another window. It also will make use of a new web-based NASIS help system.

The following files must be installed on your Windows work station in order to access the NASIS Central Server through a secure network connection. If you are using a Windows PC, download, unzip, and run the install program for both the NASIS Secure Access program and the Windows version of SSH. These programs are also available from the CCE Certified Software site. As with earlier versions of NASIS, you will also need X windows emulation software, such as Hummingbird's Exceed, installed on your PC.

If you are already using NASIS Secure Access, it will be necessary to uninstall both the EAI-SSH and NASIS Secure Access programs before installing these new versions. Use the Add/Remove Software option on the Control Panel to do this. You must install the new SSH before you can use the new NASIS Secure Access.

If you are using a terminal on a Unix system or a PC with Unixware, the administrator for your Unix system should download and install just the SSH version for your type of Unix. NASIS Secure Access is not available for Unix workstations.

Download, unzip, and run this executable to install Windows Pedon. See the Windows Pedon 1.1 Installation Guide for details.

Download a new/empty Windows Pedon database to replace a database that you have submitted for uploading to NASIS. This new database does contain basic geographic area and geomorphic feature lookup data, but you will have to reload whatever plant lookup data you were using into this new/empty Windows Pedon database.
