649 – Land Resource Regions and Major Land Resource Areas

649.01 – Assigns and defines responsibilities for all contributors to update portions of Agriculture Handbook 296.

649.02 – Updates instructions for developing all portions of written narratives describing LRRs and MLRAs.

649.04(b) – Establishes a 5-year repeating timeline for updating and publishing LRR and MLRA maps.

Exhibit 649-1 – Updates and corrects MLRA assignments to MLRA Regional Offices.
