[Text Only View] | [Instructions]

The Soil and Water Resources Conservation Act (RCA) provides broad natural resource strategic assessment and planning authority for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). The purpose of the RCA is to ensure that USDA programs for the conservation of soil, water, and related resources are responsive to the long-term needs of the Nation.

Conservation reports have been updated with fiscal year 2011 data on financial obligations by state and by program, as well as conservation practices implemented in FY 2011. The updated reports also may include minor corrections to data for earlier fiscal years. Coming soon, national reports for each program with state by state data on financial obligations and conservation practice implementation.
