FLAG is a national level group whose membership includes those federal agencies actively participating in the soil survey of the U.S. These include but are not limited to the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Department of Defense (DoD), Forest Service (FS), National Park Service (NPS), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), and National Resource Conservation Service (NRCS).
